i think the world would be a better place if we had a public stoning of all the child molesters, everybody could bring their own stone.just like in the old days.

my little sister was raped the guy went to jail and i was told that he got a broken broom handle up well.....ya he is still alive but not doing to well
My opinions fluctuate. But I happen to be in the mood for a little "an eye for an eye" when it comes to rapists. I don't see anything wrong with, if a man has raped someone, he too should be raped. That way he can feel his victim's pain.
Well I am a moral nihilist, but for the purpose of discussion I'll try to pretend that I care.
Killing is a crime and raping is a crime, so why should anyone who kills a rapist not be put to death? But wait, if someone kills the murderer who killed the rapist, then they should be put to death also. That would mean that someone would have to keep killing the last person who killed until there's only one person left on Earth. Then they'd have to kill themselves and the human race would be extinct.
Doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.
I don't get why people would cross the line and say don't kill child molesters... but I'm all for hurt them back for mess up children's mind.

Stoning someone means you are just as bad as anyone who has ever been jailed for abuse.
I won't deny that they diserve to be punished but if you belief in punishment like that then you belong in prison too!
The old days were terrible. Capitol punishment is wrong: it's revenge, not justice.
ok, I'm female and I know people who have been molested, so I know it's horrible and the effects are lasting. however, stoning people... are you being funny, because it's not. You would really kill someone with your own hands and a stone? And that's if I believe you're serious and would do this yourself, which I don't. I think your venting hot air. How sick do you have to be to want to stone anyone to death. I just don't think people should kill each other. Use your brain... Keep in mind, and I know this might be kinda hard for those that are all excited about killing their problems, but molesters were often molested. Why don't you pre-kill the molested too...just in case....(this is a called sarcasm)
yeah, fight violence with a worse violence..great idea. violence is what creates rapists..what a fansatic way to solve the problem..we'll torture them to death..i'll tell ya, how could people feel this way after even 10 minutes of thinking about it?..sad thing is, the more some people think about it, the stupider their beliefs become..so many people are so foolish.
The people who voted no too this are clearly the pedo's and imo the fact comes down too I been arrested for grevious bodily harm 7 times all because of the amount of people who I used too know turned into pedo's personally I think stoning is too good for them I think we should invent a way of torturing them but keep them alive so more or less it is hell with no chance of parole. Torture them till their heart gives way and truth be known nazi war criminals wanted which no one can find there are about 5 in my surrounding area!

I think that justice should be dispensed the same way a plane is flown: carefully, thoughtfully, unemotionally, and with care not to make extreme corrections.
And what about the person who is wrongly accused of molesting a child because the child is twisted and decides to play a sick game and get an adult into trouble? Then the authorities help him bolster his story and pretty soon, you have the whole town against him and he gets sent to prison and is marked for life and has to report to whoever is in charge wherever he moves to that he's a child molester. You see, this has happened to someone I know and later the kid recanted the story. But the guy's life is ruined for nothing. In your scenario the guy would be dead already for something he never did.

Yeah, that's a great idea, let's go backwards in time and start killing people for their crimes. What happens when someone's wrongly convicted? because I can assure you it's very easy for someone to claim rape and the person will be prosecuted almost no questions asked.

The thing people dont get is that people do things like this because they themselves are messed up and suffering.
Inflicting more sufferring upon the perpertrator would not fix them, but make them more screwed up.

I'd just like to point out that there is no such word as 'raper'. But then again what do you expect from somebody who refers to the savage barbarity of our ancestors as 'the good old days'.
Indeed rapists and child molesters are sick individuals and in an ideal society they would not exist. However they do and always have. Killing somebody is never justified.
All I can say is they deserve to suffer but not die dying would be letting them off to easy
I agree all the rapists should be stoned. There is a reason why theyre abused in the prisons. It's despicable.
you know you would think that would be a great solution but people could say the same about anyone like people who look at porn are perverts too so i think that would just end up because everyone would be caught up in crime. think of all the other bad things people do divorce, adultery, leaving their families, kidnappings, those don't sometimes always hurt physically, but the emotional pain is worse. think about it.
when and where and ill be there :P imo its better to let them all just rot in jail for their first conviction even if they are innocent or not. There are more way more guilty then innocencts in prison. Just because some people are innocent doesnt mean that the guilty shouldnt be punished... its like "better be safe then sorry". im sure the tax payers that pay for their stay in prison wouldnt mind paying for it if it keeps them off the streets and keeps their children/ the future victims safe.

Right. Well done. In fact, while we're at it, let's stone EVRYONE accused of things we don't like. We could put them in camps! And force them to do labour and stone them then! Wow this is brilliant. Definitely the actions of a civilised and progressive society!
