Still missing my husband

Is it normal to grieve your deceased husband after 30 years. When he was diagnosed with Cancer something inside me died and I never got it back. I moved on but inside that piece is still missing.

When someone very close to us dies they take a chunk of us with them but leave part of themselves behind.

Normal and kind of sweet. You must’ve loved him very much. Somewhere he’s missing you too. There’ll come a day you 2 will be together again.

My mom passed away exactly one year ago today. I still haven't gotten over it, I can only cope with it. Perfectly normal.

You can never replace a missing piece. But, you can make new friends and grow in other directions.

I feel your loss. I lost my best friend in high school (suicide); and I still miss him.

Yes, I think it's normal to always miss those we have lost who have passed away.

It's normal to miss someone you love, though death is really unexpected you keep reminding yourself about that person who was in your life.
