Staring out the window

I was staring out the window when I started to hear some noise. Bells, whistles, and cheers kept getting louder. And then a wedding procession passed by. Everyone was dressed in vibrant colors, waving noise makers, and holding signs of congratulations. Then someone in the building across the street came running out, dressed in short denim shorts and a pink tank top. He started cheering with them using a bullhorn. He also used the siren feature. And as quickly as it came, it left. Back to work.

I know this is a normal thing to be distracted by, but I wanted to share my amusment. So I have to ask, is it normal?

It was slow and I was standing at my register staring out the window. There was a suspicous guy that walked out holding a pink wallet and something bigger like a black purse under his arm. I thought that was weird. We aren't allowed to approach someone even if you see them putting stuff in their pocket. I continued to watch him out in the parking lot and got his license plate. I got yelled at and told to find something to do. I tried to explain and my manager told me to 'shut up' and wasn't willing to listen. An hour later at the end of our shifts, two girls came crying to my supervisor saying a black purse and a pink wallet were missing from their lockers. Of course they have no cameras near the break room and you can just walk right in with the lockers in view of the door. We aren't even allowed to put locks on our lockers. The supervisor approached me later and asked if the guy I saw was the one that had a wallet in his hand. I looked at him with a huge smart ass smile. I pulled the paper out of my pocket that I had written his plate number down. I tore it up and shoved it in my purse and said "I don't know. You said you don't care so I don't either" then walked out the door for the night. It felt awesome! He got fired for misconduct. :)

    I win!

Sounds like the bullhorn you have described has...... Epilepsy, don't worry there is medication that will help. Worry less my friend he will be a normal bullhorn once again. Just be there for support.

Yes, why don't you write about your vivid observations?

It's normal to look out the window and observe things.
