Stalking a girl so you can figure out how to meet her

They always blow me off when I try to talk to them directly. So I have to find out where they live, work, take classes, etc., then show up at these places like I belong there and build their trust. Is this normal for guys to do or should I take a different approach?

    Not only is this not normal, but it is beta as fuck and you could end up with a restraining order very easily.

    Just focus on yourself, and maybe use some dating sites or go join some outside activities and organizations that interest you. Eventually you will just make some friends and a girl or two will find you attractive

      It sounds to me like he is down with the whole equality thing though. I mean he is being respectful enough not to "hit on her" but he still wants to get to know her, so he is doing it "respectfully".
