Im a girl and when I'm around a girl with an annoyingly squeaky voice.. is it normal i have an urge to grab their throat? Of course id never do it but it takes every ounce of willpower not to. I was at a concert the other day and there was this preppy girl to my left while waiting for the band to start, and she was talking to her friend unnecessarily loud inches from my ear. She had the most squeaky annoying voice I've ever heard, it seemed she was doing it on purpose. It took everything in me not to head butt her face.

    yes squeaky can be annoying but i'm with vikingwolf the upward inflection on the end of a sentence in a higher register..grrr

    It is normal to be annoyed by squeaky voices. But that is something they cannot help, unless it is obvious it is forced.
    The One that really annoys me is when people inflect their voice in a higher pitch towards the end of a sentence, in much the manner a person might ask a question, while not asking questions.

    Upward inflection? I've noticed a downward inflection in many American women with a somewhat crackling voice at the end of a sentence and it annoys the piss out of me. You've got these phone operators in India that now imitate this style too. It gets on my nerves.

    Should have head butted her anyway :/ the way other people around me kept scowling at her, they probably would have thanked me. Damn rage inducing screechy bitches.

    It's definitely normal. Try not to let the annoyance get to you so much. Just make fun of her in your head.
