Squatting on the toilet seat

It may be that I'm a germophobe, over-reacting and whatnot, but I absolutely refuse to sit on toilet seats. I'm sure other people do this at nasty public toilets, but I wont even sit on one at home.

Is this normal?

    its normal in public restrooms... but at home? Only if someone else in the household is carrying a disease or something.

    Haha. I have a friend who moved from another country where they actually do that to go to the bathroom sooo if you move there you would be normal lol

    i do that but not coz i think its dirty, i dont like the cold feeling when i first sit on it.
