I'm an 18 year old girl and I still love to watch spongebob. I don't go out of my way to watch it, but if it's on when I turn my tv on I have to watch it. Is this normal?

    im 14 and i still watch it matter fact i go out of my way to watch spongebob....spongebob rocks and always have since i was 9,,,,,,even my username is spongbob lol :)

    I'm 18 and i hate that little yellow sponge, i wanna punch his teeth in every time he laughs.. But yet I love to sit there and watch the back to back episodes of it whenever I cant find something to watch. XD

    SpongeBob isn't a kitchen sponge, he's the undersea kind. He happens to be square because Stephen Hillenberg thought it suited his character (being a nerd and all).
    Anyway, it's normal to enjoy the show no matter what age you are - I'm a bit older than eighteen and I love him :)

    I hate cartoons...

    and I love Spongebob. Mostly I love Spongebob cause of Squidward. Reminds me of myself.

    But shows like Family Guy and Southpark are terribly gay and I hate when people tell me to watch them (and it happens pretty frequently)

    I thought it was a hilarious show and I watched it up until high school graduation. Some of my friends watched it and many of them thought it was for babies but I don't give a crap cuz it made ME happy!
    I am a 23 year old college graduate now and I don't watch it anymore, mostly because you can only watch SO MANY RERUNS and the new episodes seem not that funny.
    I have moved onto the misadventures of flapjack, freaking hilarious!!! Do what makes you happy, screw everyone else!

    im too old to have watched it as a youngster, but to ME, I think, some idiot that thought of making a cartoon character out of a KITCHEN SPONGE is the stupidest idea ever, but I guess theres my generation gap... I grew up with he man, bugs bunny, smurfs, ect. sponge bob seems retarded in comparison

      Yeah I get that it seems odd to you because it's a sponge.. But haven't you ever learnt that sponges are actually sea creatures? They come from the sea anyway so it makes sense.
