I've had an experience twice in my life. I'm driving and at the stop light I see someone that I'm very attracted to opposite me and waiting for the light to change. I look at them, they look at me and we both smile and nod and there is almost INSTANT chemistry through the glass. I wonder if there's any way I can meet them somewhere or get their number and then BAM, the light changes and it's all over and they are gone forever.

Has anyone ever had this happen like I have?

    I dont think this is love.I think it's just attraction. Maybe you need to get to know someone who you don't meet at a stoplight.

    What you are experiencing is lust. This is not love at first site, as scientifically speaking that is not possible. What you felt was an instant PHYSICAL attraction that compelled you to want to know more about that person. That is all it was. I would totally encourage you to try and follow up on it though! Y'never know, they could turn out to be someone that, in time, you could fall in love with. My advice, next time, catch the plate ;) Take care!

    I'm not sure if it's normal but that sounds amazing. Kind of like when someone yells out your name from a passing car but you never find out who it was.
