Split love, iin?

I have a boyfriend who I love and I would never cheat on him. I'm sure I'm happy in our relationship and I won't let anyone ruin it. However, there's another boy I like at school, I've liked him even before meeting my boyfriend. It's like I'm always ready to talk with this boy and I find him really attractive, but I don't want to act on those feelings because of my wonderful relationship. Does this mean that I don't really like my boyfriend and I'm kind of a traitor? Answer please :(

You love your boyfriend and you are infatuated with another boy. Love and infatuation are not the same thing. The only way you'd be a traitor is if you were to act on your infatuation.

      Agreed.
In my experience, opting for fun is great and all, but stability is overall much more rewarding in the long run. Assuming you want stability. Not everyone does.

I think when it comes to relationships a lot of people like to view it as a short term deal. But others like to view it as something long term and those are the ones that care about stability. And besides you can have both in a relationship.

Yeah, I agree with you, you can have fun, but some people prefer that fun that goes with the "chase and catch" scenario. Dating is recreational for some folks, y'know?

Ya I know. I don't really like people that view dating as recreational. I mean it's their life and they chose to live it the way they want. But I just think that dating should be something more than just a fling. It should an experience that you share with another person. An experience that leads to self discovery and knowing what it's like to care about another. Actually, at this point I'm not describing dating, I'm describing what being in love should feel like. Although, I wouldn't really know.

Nawh, you're correct. Love is defined by everyone differently, but I myself define love as a partnership, teamwork.
