      What are you talking about? Did you not know it was the same dude? Heroine and Dear Diary both has Sonny for vox. Then he left to do skrillex

    From First To Last seem quite genetic to me. Not bad, but not remarkable. There are and have been a lot of bands who do the same thing as them and do it just as well - and the thing they do doesn't appeal that much to me anyway.

    To be honest, it's the same story with Skrillex. Skrillex certainly isn't unique and doesn't sound like he does what he does better than anyone else. I don't *hate* anything Sonny Moore has ever done, From First To Last or Skrillex, but I don't like it and I wouldn't voluntarily listen to it. Of the two I'd rather listen to Skrillex, but not by much.

    EDIT: Listened again to a bit of both of them. From First To Last sound like dumbed-down metal (which, to be fair, there is a lot of in the world) and Skrillex sounds like dumbed-down EDM (which there is also a lot of :P). I'd still rather listen to Skrillex because a lot of his songs are pretty catchy, but I think I'd get sick of both of them after a while. Sonny Moore is obviously doing something right, but it isn't my thing.
