Song addiction
There is a particular song that I have been listening to 100x per day (give/take) since June 2007. I can stop anytime I want to, I just don't want to because I really like the song.
Is this abnormal?

Ah now...you cant put up a post like this without saying what the song is!
If you enjoy it, no one can tell you any different.
So keep listening to it. You will be missing out of other great songs and music though, think about it.
It could have a message that you needed or wanted to hear, or be a remnant of something that you lost. I could listen to "behind the sea" by panic at the disco day and night, which is what I literally did for a few months. -if you are looking for a workaround, put just one earbud in, that way you can still hear everything that people tell you. After I realized that it was unhealthy to do so, I stopped. Be stronger than the song.
What is the song though!?
I've listened to Elton John's "Take Me To The Pilot" about 15 times, maybe 20, since I bought the CD "Elton John" 3 days ago, and I consider that excessive...what song could you possibly want to have as background music for 2.5 years? Is this some kind of troll post? What's the song?
I'm sure it's just a phase!
I've listened to Jamiroquai - Black Devil Car for 30 times in the past week.

ew, well I like it, totally not gay, he's talking about riding in a car with a girl.
No that's not normal at all. That'd be more than 30,000 plays of that one particular song. Seriously, you could use some help. Maybe buy a new cd? Delete that song? Get laid?
i'd say it isn't normal, especially if you're not listening to the other songs the band has to offer.
