Sometimes my personality flips the moment i step outside my apartment?

It doesn't happen all the time, maybe half the times. and the result is pretty exaggerated. the moment I step outside my door, I'm a different person. I'm confident, secure, responsible, talkative and have a good head on my shoulders

if I'm at home, usually wasting away on the PC, I'm quiet, antisocial, pessimistic, procrastinating and live inside my head

    It's persona that you are referring to, not personality. How you act different around different people and environments. I would guess you are an introvert as you prefer to spend more time alone.

      Ha. I actually did originally write persona but then changed it because it's not thag common of a word. I'm not sure how or why you would say I'm an introvert when I assigned positive attributes to me being outside... but you are right for the most part

      Because I feel inherently I am an introvert but then again I have phases of introversion and extroversion. The past 3 days I have displayed extroverted traits, several weeks before these three days I was incredibly introverted. It fluctuates for no apparent reason

    We behave differently in public compared to how we behave in private. It's normal human behaviour.

    Just be glad you're the opposite of me. Confident at home but a total wreck with no confidence and low self-esteem when I go outside.

      You can't be both an extrovert and introvert. These are personalities, unless you have a mental disorder, they can only be changed over time.
      It's persona that this is referring to. How you act different around different people and environments. I would guess this guy is an introvert as he prefers to spend more time alone.

      I run up the stairs like a dog at home, but I stopped doing that in public because of all the staring and screaming it caused.
