I'm a teenage girl, and i am NOT lesbian or bi or anything. but sometimes i wish i was male. To me males are just superior. Not only do they have easier lives, but i just think they are more important in the world. I also feel like males shld have power that women shouldnt be able to have. Like being president or leadig a company or something. And the thing is, ive always wanted power like that. I know i sound like a sexist.. even though i am a female, but thats just the way i feel. Id also like to add that my only sibling is my older brother if that makes a difference. Just want to know if its normal that i sometimes wish i was a boy.

    Yep, I totally get where you're coming from. It's normal, though we females also have many assets that males don't get to enjoy so don't get discouraged ^.^

    Everyone has his or her weaknesses and strengths and pro’s and con’s.

    I don't understand why people obsess over who has it better. I don't care as long as you're not standing in my way of me doing what I want to do and being who I want to be.

    There's value in everything people choose to do but certain things are seen as more valuable to society than others which is a shame.

    IIN? Yes. It's normal to want to be someone else sometimes. Prettier, smarter, taller, shorter, skinnier, funnier, richer etc etc etc

    Men don't have easier lives. Unfortunatly, society has begun to indirectly attack men for everything, despite their contribution that shows them to be more capable of evolving our species and civilization.

    I believe males as a gender are superior, but as individuals it isn't the same. There are millions of females smarter than me, achieve greatness than I can, and done it fairly and desrve their wealth.

    Their are more dumb males than dumb females, but there are more smart and smarter males than there are smart females.
    As it stands, males are the best and the worst.

    I also believe that females shouldn't be able to lead the masses, I believe they are too emotional for it. There are a lot of tough decisions that go against morality in seats of power, decisions that have to be made, and I doubt women are capable of doing so as much as men. I mean, today's society basically babies females by giving them so much "Aww, poor female" attention. They get off with everything, they get special privelages, and they want "Equality" without males sharing their positive sides.

    I personally believe the world should go back to the way males and females used to be, with gender roles. Obviously they would have more rights, which would be good for males aswell. People don't realize that when women were opressed, men also had negatives of it aswell. If a woman that was married done anything wrong against society, the man she is married to would of been basically blamed for it, because he had to have her under control to not do anything negative against society.
    If we went back to gender roles, we would have so much better/more brought up children.

    But, I believe the male gender is superior to the female gender.
    If we were seperated in to different areas, males would progress better and faster in making civilization. I seen someone say males would attack eachother constantly if this happened, but I dissagree, to an extent. Yes, you would get quite a few people fighting for power, butthe majority of males would work together to build. I mean, have you seen builders today? They work together, and that's how it would be. I believe there would be a struggle for alpha dog at the start, but once one is chosen, males would progress a lot.
    It would be harder for women because they would have to get their own food, make their own tools, use their less strength, and have tofight other species that are stronger than them, so I believe they won't be able to survive as well as the males.

    There are more parts I would include, but I've said enough.

      Huh.

      Sorry, I don't wish to be controlled by my husband. I feel that I am very intelligent and have just as much to contribute to our lives as he does. I am willing to take responsibility for my failings and I admit, I care more about properly raising my children than I do about my career. I don't consider myself a lesser person for me, I know men with that disposition as well.

      I like many of your main points and I usually agree with what you say, but I don't need my husband controlling me. I have gotten this far without a man having to hold my hand the whole way, obviously my vagina isn't THAT big of a hinderance to what I am capable of =/ But maybe I am misunderstanding you.

        That's why I said the part that involved them having rights, so their partner couldn't control them.

        That's why I think gender roles should be made. Women take more interest in raising children, where as males take more interest in work, neither are bad.

        I don't mean it as in men can just say "Go do this, go do that". I don't wish for it to be like that. I do however wish that in a married couple that have children that women take care of the kids (such is their nature).

          What about those women who don't want children. Like, I HATE babies, and there's no way in hell that I want one. Not all women are emotional. And I don't think anyone is superior to anyone. Personally, I think we're all bags of shit men and women alike. People are always talking about not seeing color, well it's time to stop seeing sex too. People are people. Straight and too the point. And I don't need a man in my life to surive. I can take care of myself. Straight and to the point. I've come this far having never been in a relationship and I will go even further when I become successful and follow my dream. Who gives a shit about raising a family?! There's a reason why the 50's are over. And if I had to live with "gender roles" I'd goudge my eye out with a screw driver!

          That's terribly unfair to the women that have no desire to have children. That just puts us where maternal men are in our society, backwards and improper as opposed to admirable.

              Ah. Well then your plan would still screw me over as you can see, I am married and my husband and I are not yet in the financial position to have children as we are both working our way through college. If I were to settle and have children right now, the rent would not get paid and we would become homeless =/

        I think ItDuz was saying men tend towards the extremes while women are more average. I'm not sure I agree, but there's nothing illogical about holding that position.

        In the worldwide population, there are more females than males.

        The way I interpreted his post is that there are more outliers; people with above and below average intelligence among the males than among the females.

          I know what he was trying to say. [Like you mentioned, that females allegedly tend to waver around the average intelligence index, while males are more likely to fair either below average or significantly above average] BUT he said it haphazardly, and it made little sense. Beside the matter, there's no conclusive evidence to argue either of those points.

          And since female infanticide has become staggeringly popular, the world population favors males ever so slightly.

    I'm a male, sometimes I wish I were female, I have so much affection for women (I think I'm extremely feminist) that I want to be one, and I don't know why, I would like to live in another reality where everything was in 2D and I would be a female cartoon.

      That's probably one of the downsides to being a guy- gay men are generally much less accepted in American society than gay women... which is something I don't really understand. Is it because women are typically the more romantic and emotional gender? And men are generally suppose to be "manly", and having feelings for another man isn't "manly"?
