Sometimes i seem to forget that red means stop

I don't know how else to explain it, but when I'm driving sometimes I'll have seen that the traffic light is red, but only in the last few seconds I remember to stop. IIN?

I do this too. I stopped at a green light once and sat there the entire time...wasn't my proudest moment.

I'm a pizza delivery driver and when I've been driving for a long time my brain goes into autopilot and I've been known to skid to a halt because I simply forget that I still have to follow the rules of the road. Green... go. Red... stop. Don't worry. It's pretty normal.

I actually do this too! I have actually ran a few stop lights because for some reason I didn't think it was stop. I don't know how to explain it but I see that the light is red, I just don't think to stop. It's almost as if I look at the red and think its safe to drive through. Doesn't make sense

  • I do this too. I have also stopped at green ones and waited for the stop sign to turn green.

I seem to think yellow means "floor it so my ass doesn't get stopped at the red light"

Its a rule. Yellow means go faster...except when the fuck nozzle in from of you decides to stop. Damn those motherfuckers to hell and beyond!!!

Lol. In my experience it seems like a lot of people, especially when they're not paying full attention, automatically have a tendency to hit the brakes when the light turns yellow. Even if they have plenty enough time to make it if they were to speed up a little, they still automatically hit the brakes.

I noticed I was doing this myself with my own driving habits and decided to change this illogical behavior. Nowadays, I watch the lights very closely and always make an immediate judgement call as soon as they turn. What is life without a little risk, right? :)

Just to be on the safe side, you might want to see a neurologist about that.

I hope to hell nobody's in the car with you when you crash and I hope you don't kill the people in the other car.
I'd say it was time to stand up and be a responsible adult and stop driving immediately!

Or learn to have better focus when operating something so sophisticated and dangerous as a motor vehicle. Driving is much too easy and too many people take for granted or are unaware of the risks involved until it's too late.
