Sometimes...hate my mother?

She brought me up, but I cant stand her. Everything she says I just have the urge to argue with, then she calls me arrogant. I love her for what shes done for me but shes always moaning about pissy stuff! I mean seriously pissy things. Shes so needy and this biggest attention seeker alive! When all the mothers are boasting about their kids mine is trying to belittle me so she can have "oh you poor mother"

Anyone else feel the same atall?

    My mom is the exact same way. It's funny my mom and dad are polar opposites. My dad is always boasting and bragging about me while my mom is always putting me down. And I've never heard my mom tell the whole story and when she tells someone something I've said, she always twists it around so it sounds like i'm the bad guy. Haha maybe leave this page on your computer screen in hopes that she will see it, then see what her reaction is.

    i know what your going thru. i have the same problem with my mom. all she does is talk so bad about me and my brother and she makes it seem like were the problem when really its her. my mom trys to make people feel bad for her like shes the victam yet she doesnt ever tell the whole story about what shes done wrong as well. its really really hard but you jus got to get away from her dont spend as much time around her so that you wont have alot of arugments

    Yeah, I feel the same way. I know I shouldnt dislike her, but for some reason we just CLASH. Maybe once you live away for a while and get you're own life, there will be less tension

    Well, you sound like an ungrateful person to me. At least you have a mother..many people in the world do not. My mom almost died 5 years ago & sure she bugs me a lot, but that doesn't mean I'm not thankful every day that she's still here.

    Don't give her any ammo. If she can't get attention from it, she'll let it go. She just wants someone to complain to that will say "poor you" all the time.

    You're lucky, your mother is just a controlling bitch. Mine destroyed my father's life.

    This myth that "mother = always good and loving" is bullshit. Just as not all people are good, not all mothers are good people.

      Exactly! Just because someone gives birth to you, doesn't mean they'll automatically adore you! My own mother is mean and snippy towards me all the time ( unfortunately we live in the same house) and I'm SO fed up with it because I do nothing to instigate this treatment. I know she would have a fit if I turned the tables and was mean and snippy with her! I never am that way, that's what makes me so angry about it. I think I can honestly say I despise her, she's always been a terrible mother and she knows it and doesn't care.

    Oh.. I kind of agree with people when they say ur being ungrateful..
    But then I guess they will call me ungrateful too a little bit when I say in this comment that my mother always said she MARRIED MY FATHER NOT BECAUSE SHE LOVED HIM BUT BECAUSE SHE "ENVISIONED" ME.
    what bullshit lol.
    obviously I was a mistake with the way she acts when she tells me that.
    but oh well. She's kinda self-centered. She wants to be seriously famous and have tons of friends on facebook. wtf o_o
    But oh well, right? Their our mothers & we're SUPPOSED to love them no matter what. Even though they always fucking nag about everything.

      Not always the case. My mother treats me like garbage and I certainly will not miss that treatment when she is gone. She does nothing but cause me grief, stress, aggravation and just plain hell. I'll be a much happier person without her dragging me down.
