Been there, done that; both ways. Neither is a recipe for a lasting relationship.

I'd rather love someone and not be loved, because being loved by someone who I don't feel the same for would just be immensely guilty and I'd feel like I was leading that person on.

I don't mind if someone didn't love me, as long as they were still into me sexually / physically / emotionally, and treats me well if if it's not love.

I would want a women who didn't love me because at least if she was desirable to me and I loved her . I could find some sort of happiness , if I didn't love her .. I would have no happiness and feel guilty being with someone I don't love.

Eventually this doesn't work out. You can't constantly keep lying to yourself, to a person you live with, and the rest of the society you are a part of.

If I were in a relationship with someone that loved me and I had no feelings for them, I'd feel terrible because all I'd be doing is hurting that person. I'd rather love someone that doesn't feel the same way. Then again in either situation, we'd both be miserable in the long run.
