Some music is written specifically for stoned people? true or not?

Alright, I have a theory regarding the music on my radio station. And alright since cops don't go after potheads in my area, I'll admit that I am baked much of the time and mostly just sit around listening to the radio blazed as hell if I am not working, in fact, I think it's a perfectly normal and healthy way to pass time. I have a theory regarding my radio station that I listen to which might be true. I think it's written specifically to cater to people in an altered state of some kind. Most of the people I know in my area blaze and it's an "alternative rock" station a.k.a. stoner music so it would make sense they'd play songs to give all the stoned people an awesome high especially if your listening to the radio at like 3 AM like I usually do since I'm often high as hell. What do is it normal people think of this? Or maybe I'm just baked out of my gourd?

    I doubt that it's as much written for stoned people as much as BY stoned people. Don't you think that might be a better theory?

    Calling alt rock, stoner rock just tells me you dont really understand music.

    And i feel like you have to be stoned to like 90% of the greatful dead's musoc

    Yeah I think that's almost certainly the case, although sober people can enjoy that music too. If love songs are written for people who are in love and party songs are written for people at a party, drug songs can be written for people who are high.

    It had to be this way for "MacArthur's Park" and "Muskrat Love". (If you want to listen to something far out, I highly suggest that you listen to the band, Ozric tentacles. They are fantastic.)
