Solipsist morals

It's normal for a solipsist but solipsists get their morals from other philosophies and not morality or ethics.

It's simple what my morals are, pain and harmlessness of solipsism, and also ultrapessimism, ultraconservatism, provincialism, anti-Australianism, anti-perfectionism, quasi-vegetarianism, Four Humours and Four Temperaments, homoeopathy, incompatibilism, being usual, mohism, atomism, Pyrrhonnism, intangible cultural heritage, purism, misogyny and misanthropy, not begging for items in public, staying out of the pubs, and also being non-violent/non-abusive/reasonably calm, without even hitting with a light tap, without killing, without being a sex offender, without taking illegal drugs, and with only doing petty crimes, yes, I'm a crook, and am at the ready to shoot birds illegally if I want to, and I also get my morals from my own of the few personal philosophies, like subjectivism, roboticism, and smoking philosophy, and finally I derive my morals from being a wino and living hectic, and my own personal politeness.

This no rules policy is gruelling and misunderstood to such a beast as an angry old man, yet no one's telling me I did the wrong thing. It's about no gods and therefore no external, objective morality, morals come from religion.
I believe harming others is imprudent along with consequences such as pain.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • I didn't read the post since it seemed to be a list of adjectives and proper nouns

When I first learned about solipsism, I thought it would be a great insult for someone too clueless to believe their eyes

Solipsism is the belief in that only one's self and one's thoughts are sure to exist, and that is all

I do agree that seeing is believing and that there are many things we will never truly know, but I also believe if I let my cat eat my food he will die and if I'm not careful while driving I will die. To believe this means I can't believe in solipsism. It just seems like a school of thought that works like a cult, a method of control; get everyone disbelieving everything and telling them what to believe instead.

There are better teachings than what solipsism can offer to even the most innocent of victims. There are a lot of variables out there, worrying about too many is stressful. There's this thing called mental fatigue that once learned about can be used to combat it. With Alan Watts, Buddhism, and Abraham Maslow you can learn how to proactively approach fulfilling tasks. With Carl Jung, Frederick Nietsche, and many others, you can learn yourself and how to be able to trust your judgement

The solipsism I believe in is different to that, it's the belief that I may be a brain in a vat but can't know that for certain, that I can only know thoughts for certain, and it's a science using empirical observation of what I transparently or opaquely construe, and it uses its own version of Occam's razor, induction is fallible, and solipsists of all kinds do believe in morals not an external, objective morality and do get their morals from philosophy, and a solipsist claims "there's no deities, no "creator" and therefore no basis for an external, objective morality". Solipsists don't follow morals based on rules, and they don't make up their own morals without diluting their code.

      • That sounds very similar to my schema. I believe there's truth in Nietszche's "there is no truth, only interpretation." It's hard to actually be objective, since you're either involved or have your own foibles and virtues. Accepting that individuals have their own thought processes more or less validates every perception; even the dumbies and lowlifes are an example of what not to be and allow a standard to be formed by the individual

Nietzsche's philosophy is all bullshit, there is such a thing as the truth and I think you have no free will, given that you don't get rewarded or punished for your morals, there's no free will.

          • The free will is that you do get to live your own life. You make choices and decisions, you figure out how to live and survive. You choose how to respond to things, you adapt to your surroundings in your own way. Maybe it's just me but it's possible to regain your composure in any moment no matter what, just at the cost of acceptance.

There may be predispositions that are genetic or some other factor, but I still believe how you live is important and so did Nietszche and other big minds in psychology. Birth defects happen, abnormalities exist, there is a bell curve upon which people can exist for a lot of trends. All you need to do is understand where you are and where you'd like to be, make realistic progress if you are so inclined. Bad things are gonna happen no matter what you do, really. You can always choose how you respond to things, including seeking wisdom to respond to things better. Now it's getting a little into karma, but how you fare here reflects your overall competence I would say

I didn't get to decide anything concerning my birth and I don't think anybody ever has. I do know my life thus far, where I'm at now, and how I want things to be. I'm using Nietszche's teachings, and psychology in general, for more personal matters, understanding myself keeps me healthily sceptical. This keeps keeps me rational and rooted, grounded as I process information.

Nietszche inspired Abraham Maslow with his hierarchy of needs and self actualization. And Carl Jung as well I believe, and he outlined the framework of the mind extensively and basically gave us like a road map on how to use the mind. These things, this is what the Superman, ubermensch, is. And it's all about you putting the work in to become smart enough to handle anything and have what you need to be satisfied with life

Nietszche wrote a work of fiction titled Thus Spoke Zarathustra, and it's about an arguable Superman who wonders the world around and is met with many wild circumstances. It gives a good, broad view on what a self actualized, fully met hierarchy of needs, mentally healthy, Superman is and you can see plainly free will as he's so bold with everything he does, and successful I might add

Why can't you just enjoy the best things? The truth is I'm the best, that means you have to like it, don't argue, I'm right and I'm never changing my mind.

True, but no police in this country is going to take me to prison, they think I'm too sick to know what I'm doing and will probably take me home.
