Soda miraculously sapped from can, iin?

So a couple years back when the Simpsons were good, and the movie was coming out, 711 for a little while redesigned one of their stores in Manhattan to look like the quickie mart. As memorabilia, I decided to buy a can a buzz cola, which was just jolt in a different can.

Cleaning out my room a few years later I found the old can, but it was empty. Unopened, no small holes punched in it, no sticky spot underneath where it has spent such a long time. The can was in pristine condition, but void of the liquid that was once there.

Does this happen to soda cans or is my house haunted by a caffeine addicted spirit?

Dunno! But I was at the checkout in a major supermarket the other day when my 2 litre bottle of cola fell over on the conveyor belt and hit something on the kiosk. It punched 2 tiny holes in the bottom of the plastic bottle which sprayed the cashier and the lady behind me in the queue. They couldn't find the holes and when they did they couldn't stop it!

I just stood there laughing :o)

I've had this happen. There's some small leak in it somewhere, it has evaporated. Submerge it in water for a couple days and shake it, you'll see some water has made it's way inside. When you submerge it, you might even see some air bubbles coming from the leaky area.

What if there was nothing in there to begin with? This is reminding me of a dream sequence.

Gawd, caffeine ghosts! Like normal ghosts aren't bad enough. Now we have ghosts that are awake at night, trembling, shivering, and keep moving about all over the place. Actually, wait a sec, don't all ghosts do that?

You could be on to something here. Maybe all ghosts are just caffeinated spooks. If we kept our caffeine under wraps, maybe ghosts would sleep at night just like we (some of us) do and not haunt people.

Petition for caffeine safes with ghost-proof locks!
