Social anxiety ruined my life

Every missed opportunity in my life was caused by my extreme shyness. I've been alone for years. While everyone is out living their life, I'm sitting at home, playing video games, reading, masturbating, or making posts such as this one. How normal is that?

Try doing little things to break out of your shell. Go out for a walk, go to church, get around people.

Your not talking about yourself, your talking about me and you think I care.

If you're not happy, get help. I also have social anxiety and prefer to spend a lot of time away from people. I've found a balance between going out with friends and getting to have my space. Find stuff that you're interested in and see if you can find a club or something with people who also like that.

As long as I have my weed I'm fine. But if I run out I cannot leave my house.

Pot gives me anxiety. Funny how things like pot affect people differently.

Well weed does increase/speed up your heart rate when initially taken. It did for me anyway because of the chemicals in it. I do believe however it can cause anxiety issues over time due to the paranoid thoughts and feelings one can get from smoking it long term. :/

Sadly it's becoming more normal. If you think it's becoming a problem go to the doctors and they'll advise you.
I get anxiety badly, literally throwing up some times, I just deal with it and force myself to do what ever's making me anxious. You can lead a decent life with anxiety if you force yourself to control it and not let it control you.

By my standards more recently that's quite normal. Lol, but I have social anxiety too, among many other problems. Have you tried drugs? They can be a problem themselves but sometimes they're not a bad solution to a problem, especially social anxiety.
