So what if i haven't seen e.t.?

I've never seen E.T. Never seen any Star Wars films. Or The Godfather, or Pulp Fiction, or Forrest Gump, none of the Batman movies. And so on.

Is it really a big deal though? Whenever someone finds out any of this, they say something like "oh my God, are you serious?? You've never seen <...>!! You HAVE to see it! I'm gonna make you watch it!".......bullshit!! Seriously, what's the big fucking deal? SO I'm some kind of idiot or I was deprived of so much because I haven't seen certain films? Whatever. It annoys me. I'm not ever gonna watch these damn movies. So there!

It's weird that someone hasn't seen such films! 7
I haven't seen a lot of these films either. 19
How is this even possible? EVERYONE has seen these movies! 6
You should watch all of these films right away! 3
It's fine to never have seen these films. 19
If I met you, I'd yell at you too for not seeing these films! 5
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

You are missing out on al lot of good stuff, but whatever. It is no big deal.

Yeah, it's normal. I bet there are loads of really popular movies that they haven't seen. It's no big deal, in my opinion. People say the same to me about Mary Poppins. I think I saw it as a kid, but I can't remember it.

"I'm not ever gonna watch these damn movies. So there!"

Yes, it's annoying, but not watching something seriously isn't going to teach them a lesson or be any disservice to them, or whatever point it is you're trying to make. You *are* missing out (on watching these films, how could you not be, considering you haven't seen them?), and it's your own fault. Don't be close minded for the sake of proving a point. They really are worth a watch. Go watch them and see what the "big fucking deal" is:)! If you don't like them, then fair enough, at least then you'll have something valid to base your opinion on, rather than just being stubborn.

    • No, I'm not going to watch those movies because I have no desire to. I just don't care. I'm tired of people telling me to watch them. I'm not missing out on anything, I'm not being close-minded, I'm simply not interested in seeing these films so why should I, and why do people think they have this duty to convince me to do so? I don't have an "opinion" on these films, I don't know where you got that idea from. I'm not saying I think they're bad films, I'm just saying I have no desire to watch them.

Ok, sorry then. But it only makes sense for them to think that you're missing out. If they really like it, then of course they'll want to share it and for you to get the same thing from it as they did.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars, Jaws, Jurassic Park or Avarar films except a few snippets here and there. Basically I shy away from the big Hollywood blockbusters. They're usually overrated anyway. I understand that many people do enjoy and get into these films but they are just not my cup of tea. Pulp fiction I would also pass. Same too goes for any Harry Potter and all those Lord of the Things movies.

I have never seen titanic, dirty dancing, Spider-Man, badman, iron man, any other super hero movie, or one of the movies you said. So don't worry. You're not the only one

You must watch Pulp Fiction! The Godfather was pretty good from what I remember. Never seen Star Wars and never want to, and E.T. is garbage I'd rather watch Paul.

I think it's strange. They're just such a big part of our culture as western human beings of the 20th/21st century.

    But no problem with it.
(Unless you haven't seen Lord of the Rings. That's serious)

I've seen forest gump and about 5 minutes of pulp fiction, but I've never even been interested in seeing the others that you listed.
It's normal for you not to have seen them, some of us just aren't movie people and if you're like me, you get bored of a lot of movies fairly quickly. I just can't stay seated long enough to finish a movie.

Of course, its normal. I haven't seen the majority of the Star Wars series or many of Tarentino's films and there's nothing wrong with me.

I haven't seen all of the Star Wars films. It's no big deal. I also have a friend who grew up in an extremely religious household and didn't see his first movie until he turned 18. It's kind of fun introducing him to the classics.
