So my kid says he doesn't eat meat
My kid says he doesn't eat meat anymore, which is a problem for me as I love a good slice o pork. I've tried blending the stuff but he generally notices rogue bits of meat floating in the top. Is this normal?

It could just be a fad or something he is trying on for size. You need to have an open talk with him. Could be he has learned where meat comes from and developed a moral objection to it. Or maybe he doesn't like the taste. Either way you need to respect his opinion and let him know that while he may not want to eat meat, you still will. If you show him that you respect and honor his decisions you two will have a better relationship as he gets older, and you are instilling in him self-esteem. He's not hurting anyone, why not let him try it out for a while?
Ok, not eating meat is not for fags. That is the dumbest correlation that I've heard for a while. First off, Americans get too much protein as is. The fact that we're paying for it with our notoriously low bone density, low nutrient diets, and bad breath/smelly farts.
Truth is, your son has a right to choose not to eat meat. If it means him starving, then he has an awful lot of conviction, but I think it'd be personally wrong to let your boy starve if you have the means to feed him some alternative. Being vegetarian can actually be cheap if you are perceptive and willing to take a little time.
Your son is going to resent the hell out of you when he's older if you sneak shit in his food. Food is something very personal imo. It's something you put in your body.
There's nothing wrong with being a vegetarian. It sure beats killing innocent animals for sustenance.
Be careful, if he doesn't eat meat he will grow vaginas all over his body.
its called being NEGETARIAN!! its not like its unheard of. thats totally unfair to force meat on him! stop being so hard-headed!
Depending on how old he is, you could have a serious talk about nutrition and what a growing person needs to stay healthy. If you don't want him to not eat meat then you can tell him that to stay healthy without it he will need to eat lots of spinach and dark leafy veggies. You could also bring him a particularly slimey kind of tofu or something that he won't want to eat. Either way, being open with h I'm about his nutritional needs will show him that u trust him and respect his desicions about his body. He could just be looking for a way to exert some control over what he eats.
Good luck!
Totally normal. It's healthy to be a vegetarian, give him plenty of beans and nuts etc to keep his protein up.
Slap him and say it took alot of energy and time to make the food or only serve meat
I'm sure it's a phase. Depending on his age tell him to knock it off and eat what u put on the table.
