So all I see these day's in regards to the Olympics is hot girls in tight outfits. Athletes used to be ugly looking now their all hot, I don't even think they pick the best athletes any more I think they just pic the ones with hot ass's.

The reason the outfits are so tight is because they move easier in them. When your clothes is not flaying in the wind its easier to move in them. I remember having to push my shirt back down when I use to do exercises in MMA class. Would have been easier to have something form fitting. I was very skinny when I was doing it too.
Trust me I have read a lot about sports and athletes have always been hot...maybe not every single one but in generally sports have always had hotties...from 5000 years ago until now..nothing new
funny you mention this. I was thinking of the same thing during opening ceromonies. Not all of them are gorgeous, but yes most.
This is my explanation. At least for 1st world countries. The people that compete are those that have the money to be able to spend all that time practicing. You normally have to come from money to be able to dedicate your life to your sport. You can't support yourself and kids, etc, if you don't have a job. And if you have a job, you can't spend the proper time practicing at your sport. Coutries like Russia, (at least this was true before) support their athletes financially. Others like ours have rich people/families that support their athletes.
Now I said all this to set the stage, because almost all rich people are beautiful. Rich man has hot wife, and vice versa. After years of breeding, you have attractive children, that are healthy and rich enough to dedicate themselves to a sport. I think its a simple as money attracks beauty, which provides hot offspring.
During the Olympics in Beijing, I didn't mind seeing both sexes in tight outfits, at least I don't think that I did. During London, I found myself porringer to see the men from the Gymnastics division in their tight suits with building muscles.

I don't think many of them are that attractive. I see far more attractive people in my everyday life than I do attractive athletes on TV.
