So excited for sisters wedding

Me and my girlfriend are invited to my sisters wedding. well there wedding is not going to be this year.

She still said if we have one we will be totally welcomed. This is great news. :) now me and my girlfriends wedding is coming up. I'm also excited about that. I'm pretty sure my sister will come to our wedding.

I don't know about any other relatives. My brother probably won't because he doesn't agree with my decisions. My mom probably will because she loves me. My dad won't because he believes it's wrong to be transgender.

My grandmother and grandfather are Jehova Witnesses and they love me but say I'm going against god for changing myself. Even if my girlfriend were already married, in there eyes were a lesbian couple. So yea they won't go to our wedding. It's ok though, because I have other family That will. No I do not hate them or tell them they will regret going to my wedding. They have every right to not go. It's there beliefs and there's nothing wrong with that. My girlfriend and I in our eyes are a heterosexual couple. Transman and cis woman. Man and woman. Same thing. Love you guys. Thanks for reading.

    I think your relative excitement is certainly completely normal, but your lack of anger or hurt about your disapproving relatives is less than normal. However, your upbeat attitude and tolerance of their differences in my opinion is very commendable. I wish you well in your venture into matrimony.

        Ah right.

        The particular family members that won't come because of you being transgender seem very close minded. You've had your change and honestly it's really not hard to adapt to. Referring to it as a lesbian relationship is just stubborn.
