Snobby townsfolk

The young people in my town are so snobby and judgmental. I never felt like I could get along with them. Then I got a job in another town, and people are more down-to-earth and friendly in this new town. Does this happen to other ppl?

    Sometimes small-town people are distrustful of outsiders. I wouldn't take it personally, they've probably had some unpleasant experiences with outsiders in the past.

    I grew up in a very small town, I know what you are writing about, for sure. Good thing you were able to move.
