Smoking speed problem

I've smoked speed every weekend for about 6-7 months about 1 gram worth over the Friday and Saturday , I take it so I feel good about myself due to having depression and anger problems, but when I'm coming down I have really bad thoughts and want to harm myself, how is this affecting me ?

    Is this a serious question? Please. Speed is the WORST drug out there for you to take. Nothing will destroy your body and life faster than meth. I don't mean to be some d.a.r.e. officer or something, but of course you have messed up thought. That's what speed does. It really messes with your mind. Dealers literally put ANYTHING into speed. There gave been plenty reports if people using speed that was cut with battery acid. Speed destroys your relationships, it makes you angry, violent, suicidal, paranoid, and usually a meth-induced psychosis. It completely destroys your body. In addition to not getting sleep, the chemicals case blisters and welts and many other things. It destroys your lungs much more quickly than nicotine, restore your brain, and completely messes up your body. Meth addiction is one of the hardest to overcome, because the meth changes your brain patterns more than any other drug. Obviously, you can do what you want. But if you're going to be smoking speed, just know what your getting yourself into. Best of luck!

    Its made with lighter fluid batteries and drain cleaner thats how its affecting you. If you have underlying psychological problems you definitely shouldn't do it considering it causes depression when you comedown.

    if your gonna take speed. just dont smoke it!! Put it in your mouth, snort it or whatever. Smoking it is the worst. I use to take speed reguarly and I really enjoyed it but its really bad shit

    I LOVE SPEED . speed is the drug that i was born to live for. i hate weed, took shrooms and thought it was OK.. ecstasy and mdma dont work for me anymore. but speed... speed has always been there for me. its bad for you though, you shouldnt take speed.

    I agree with everyone so far, QUIT! Weekend Warriors often start coming up with excuses to start using during the week, and before you know it, it's an every day occurrence and you are totally addicted. You are destroying your insides! Your muscle mass is being broken down, brain cells that can never be replaced, kidney and liver damage, heart problems, you are killing yourself! We used to have a saying, " Be Smart, Don't Start". Once you try Meth or crank or speed or ice or taking ADD/ADHD drugs when you aren't diagnosed with that disease, your body craves the drug and sends FALSE messages to your brain. Please consider stopping, before it's too late. You can get a bad batch or do too much at any time, and end up a vegetable and on life support or worse...

    Speed, whether it's meth or just too much Adderall, is dangerously addictive and will make you feel exaggeratedly self-confident. The bad feelings you get afterward are going to make you want to take more. It's a vicious cycle. Quit now while you still can.

    Get off it while you can. If you live in a medical marijuana state- get a prescription. I used meth for over 10yrs. What a waste of my life. Took a year to get off my ass after quitting. Luckily I still have my sanity. Half the people I know that use it hear voices. Star jock @ Valedictorian @ my old HS was tweekin behind a dumpster for food when he was 25. Dead now, before 35. Look, If you aren't going to quit, don't hit the pipe with a torch. ALL people I know who hit while cleaning a bowl ie* burning the black stuff on the bottom of the bowl* hear shit in their heads. I used to justify use cuz was always working.(and smoking clean stuff I saw manufactured) Never stole. 1 in 10 can maintain on it successfully. I still have a serious lack of motivation and been clean for 9 years. All the stuff I used to "tweak" on and fix looks confusing to me now, and overwhelms me, and I was never like that. Hard to keep on track with anything. Quit while you are ahead. Or quit the first time you run out of your current allotted amount and want to get more before the next weekend comes. It only gets worse after that. Marijuana saved me!

    You are a weekend warrior, which is responsible of you; but the fact that you use consistently, dependently, and as a tool, you are masking the real issue (which comes alive as you come down. You don't address what bothers you. This is normal, but unhealthy. It's a form of denial, and denial is essentially lying to yourself. If you are comfortable with not knowing who you are, then be my guest. If you want to know that you are the best person you can be (given what you've been through), then accept the past and hold your head up high.

    It is destroying you...research it for yourself and see what it does to the body/mind. btw it will only make ur depression and anger problems worse. I agree 100% with what heckyeah10 said, I have family members still recovering from their 10+ yr addictions. Consider opening up to ur doc and telling them ur drug problem and how they can help. someone suggested valium? just keep in mind the possibility of getting addicted to whatever drug will help u get off of it. good luck and take it easy

    well i suggest you get it over with i mean sorry to be so blunt but there are ppl who acually value their lifes. i mean if you really cared you wouldnt be sitting on your fucking computer right now. if you honestly feel that way then what you need is a change of routine wake up a 5 instead of six, go for a jog, meet new people but what ever you do get out exercise your mind. the only way to get away from the bad stuff is to do some good and im no sociologist but the first step is to take control of your body and quit with the speed or atleast downgrade to idk weed lol n-e ways hope i didnt hit any soft spots and good luck
