Smelling my earings?

I smell my earrings too. Also do the hole rub then smell fingers thing. I have absolutely no explanation except my weirdness. I also compulsively sniff my armpits and I like when they are a little smelly.

I don't wear earrings very often but I rub the holes and smell my fingers. It's a weird habit and it does smell gross. IDK why I do it?

its normal as long as long as you dont eat the crusty/gooey stuff.i do that to check if my ears are healthy

Ew. You need to properly clean them. My mother used to take them off and the smell could almost fill the room...

OMG i just found this site today and i love it lol i do this all the time with my nose ring and monroe piercing!!! Love it. Smells good to me. AND my man is a piercer and he said all the cleaning in the world wont get rid of the smell. Its created from your oils and the earing. LMAO Im always smelling my upperlip he he he

OH HOW GROSS, SOAK YOUR EARRINGS IN RUBBING ALCOHOL ONCE A WEEK, THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP THEM CLEAN.

I do that all the time, as gross as it smells. I don't know why either. But it's normal for it to smell bad?

I don't think that's normal but if that's what if you like to do then that's you..But i don't think it smells to pretty..I've did it once..& never did it again..My friends the same way though..So i kinda understand what you mean by smelling them.

I think its normal, sometimes if I wear costume jewelry too long they get green gunk on them and it smells soo gross... but I wouldn't know that if I didn't smell them ;)

I do it too. Same with my belly button ring. They have two different smells.
