I'm stuck in this situation where there are 2 guys that want to be my boyfriend. One of them is freaking hot but not smart;there are lots of girls at school who are gaga over him. I'm kinda afraid of being in relationship w him. Well, ya know a guy w many pretty fans; he can ditch me whenever he wants. The other is smart and he's handsome, not hot, but not ugly. He is a good guy and obviously not a player.He knows what he's doing. He's a workaholic and determined person. I really like his personalities! :)

    this should be a poll. never go for looks over intelligence. the guy seems like an airhead. you want a guy who is worth your time and sticks around. go with the smart guy who is handsome.

    Smart. I've been with the kind of guy you're describing, but I wouldn't actually date them. If you're super attracted to the good looking one, have sex with him, but don't go out with him, dumb = boring = no basis for a relationship.

    It sounds to me like you know the answer already. I just hope, when you go with the obvious choice (I'm sure I don't even have to type it out loud), that he never finds out that you were so conflicted between him and that other ridiculous idiot just because other girls are all over him.

    The hot guy will make you feel good in the short run. The smart guy will possibly make you feel the best in the long run. So it's your call. I know who most girls would pick. Mr. Yummy Junkfood.

    The one that's a genuine nice guy, who has the emotional capacity to be in a relationship?

    Often times I see people doing this, they debate what type of person to go for by wondering which factors that are irrelevent to love dictate who they will be with, be it physical attraction or intelligence.

      Most women eschew the intelligence aspect and go for the first guy, not so much for the looks but because if that guy is "in demand" than the girl who gets him "beat" all the other girls vying for his attention. Most times even if the guy has a terrible rep as a womanizer.

      Yup logic doesn't really play a part in it all.

        I'm not going to say that this is entirely true for every woman, but I have seen so many women that do exactly what you explained. It's their choice, but the constant complaining they do afterwards is just irritating as hell.

          It's common for both men and women to want what other people want, and to be concerned with image and what other people think - start treating people as people. You give good advice sometimes, just cut this women-hating shit out, it makes you sound bitter.

            Saying so doesn't make it so. Criticising "some" people in a group of people for one aspect does not equate to hating the entire group they belong to.

              I see so many comments from you with this kind of tone to them. If you're not misogynistic, then keep an eye on how you're coming across.

              Can't really agree with the logic in the latter part of your comment. I didn't say 'turn gay', I said 'fuck dudes'. You can't choose to be gay, but you can decide you hate women so much you want to give fucking men a chance. If you are how you come across in certain comments of yours, I would highly recommend giving this option a shot.
