Slipknot really speaks to me

I know it's unexpected in my case, but if there's one band I could really find a message to relate to in the recent years of my life, it's Slipknot (and many true metal bands as well, I know Slipknot is not true metal in the eyes of many). Most of the songs from Iowa describe feelings I have nearly 100% accurately about humanity. I could listen to them over and over and over.

    Seriously though, I can relate to a lot of there work (and I adore the Iowa album) but agrreing with it 100%... I dunno, just dont physically show this anger in public, or you could end up in real trouble.

    SlipKnot good. I only like there Clean album- vol 3 the sublminal verses All hope is gone was a huge dissapointment but i agree with u iowa is the best

    aw, man, i'm sorry, it's been so long since i've talked to you, my bffl. Anyways, what part of them do you agree with about humanity? They always talk about humanity in a negative tone, and, except for some parts of humanity (i.e. Hitler, that asian guy at virginia tech) humanity is good. You should lighten up, listen to some caramelldansen! :D

    Ok, I like some of Slipknots stuff too, but dude, judging from your other posts and now this too... I think you're the next one in line to shoot everyone in another high school killing. You sound seriously disturbed.

    On one hand you tell us you're all zen and everything - peace, love and happiness and ENERGY.

    THEN you tell us that you like the chaos and anger that metal portrays. Either you're seriously divided about which side of the fence you stand on, or you have multiple personalities. Or you're just very confused.
