Irish Spring is nice but other like it are bound to be harmful because of the chemicals. Switch to something more natural like shea butter soap or Chandrika Ayurvedic. I really don't think this is normal... Its very strange.

No... It's really not... If u bathe every day/ night you should still smell like soap at night...

Probably not, but who cares? It hurts nobody so go for it if you like it. Could be an issue if you are in a releationship, but you always can try to find someone with the same habit.
