try being more specific in your question then people will be willing to answer!
She happens to have a beautiful bed in her own bedroom. HOwever, she refuses to sleep in it. I was actually looking for some advice about whether I should "force" her to sleep in her room or just let it be. Man, you people are rude!
You are a defensive and ignorant fucking bitch. You asked the question rudely as if everyone commenting would just immediately genie solve your problem like we knew exactly what you wanted from a sentence fragment. You're a moron
why are you shouting?
p.s. - don't whine about rudeness when you're the one asking if your weirdo sleeping arrangements are normal or not. if you don't want opinions, get the fuck off of a public forum.
HOW DO YOU SUPPOSE I SHOULD FORCE HER ANYWAYS? SHOULD I TIE HER UP OR LOCK HER IN THE ROOM? I GUESS THAT WOULDN'T BE SPOILING HER, HUH? THAT POSTING WAS OVER A YEAR AGO AND I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT I TOTALLY ACCEPT THAT IT IS NOTMAL THAT SHE LOVES TO SLEEP WITH ANOTHER PERSON IN THE ROOM. LATELY, DAD GOES AND SLEEPS IN HER BED AND SHE SLEEPS WITH ME...IT WORKS OUT GREAT SINCE DAD SNORES AND LIKES TO WATCH TV. THE WAY I SEE IT, SHE'S ONLY GOING TO BE LITTLE ONCE, AND I WANT HER TO KNOW HOW MUCH I CARED ABOUT HER FEELINGS, BEING THAT SHE'S NOT ASKING ANYTHING CRAZY OF ME. MAYBE IF YOUR MOM WOULD'VE SPENT MORE TIME LISTENING TO YOUR NEEDS, YOU WOULDN'T BE SO RUDE.
Yes, force her to sleep in her own room. A friggin' mattress on the floor? God, some people are sickening with the way they spoil their kids.
Don't listen to these careless idiots. My sister does the same thing, even though she has a beautiful bedroom. She'll grow out of it, don't worry.
What's the question? I would say it's normal, but I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're asking.
make her room and (what is more important) her bed interesting and comfortable for her. more toys. she must feel she's safe in her own room, now i guess she doesn't. talk to her. say that this or that teddy bear will bring her some presents if she sleeps with him for the whole night. this or that doll will bring her many sweet dreams if she stays in her own bed. and so on and so on.
My parents allowed this with my sister and I, even in their bed sometimes. I can say first hand that it's really unhealthy, as my sister is 14 and STILL wants to sleep in their bed if they allow it. Get your daughter in her own bed before it's too late.
Well, what are you asking?? Do we think it's okay? No, we don't. Are you cheap? Yep. Should you get her a REAL bed and a separate bedroom? YEP.
