Sleep paralysis, iin?

I have frequent sleep paralysis episodes where I can't move immediately after waking. I can moan and sometimes open my eyes, but other than that I am completely paralyzed. I know this is not all that uncommon, but I also have frequent headaches and, less frequently, panic attacks. I am worried that I have a neurological disorder, but I am both too lazy and, being a college student, too poor to go to a neurologist. Am I normal?

  • Yeah, when I wake up, sometimes I can't move at all except for blink, and my mind is half asleep so I'm like "WTF HELP WHAT THE HELL I'M DIEING - Oh, never mind, I'm good"

Sleep paralysis is nothing to worry about, trust me. I used to get it quite frequently, but it seems that ever since I found out that it's completely harmless I hardly ever experience it any more. And when I do feel like it's starting to happen to me again, I don't try to fight it, but simply relax and it simply goes away by itself.

I'm not sure whether it's normal or not, but I'm exactly the same, even with the headaches and panic attacks.

The paralysis is actually quite scary when it's happening and often I'm lying funny, so I feel like I can't breathe! :S

    So, I'm not sure!
I would say go to the doctor's, but then I'm in the UK, so it's free here.

I think that if it's interfering with your functioning, then get it looked into, but otherwise you should be okay! :)
