Skittles and starburst make me want to spit?

Every time I eat Skittles or Starburst I get this huge mass of thick spit that begins to collect in my mouth and I have to spit it out. It's ONLY these two kinds of candies. Then after I usually have to drink water or something to get the weird feeling to go away. Is it normal?

    Normal. They make you gleek. I noticed that Lemonheads and Saladitos do this too.

    OMG I like always get this feeling whenever I eat too many sweeties.. Like I have to much saliva for my mouth, bad old times :(

    Candy does different things to different people so I'd say it's normal. For some reason, I always get a sore throat after eating Airheads, doesn't matter what flavor. I wish I knew why..
