Sister got engaged!

My older sister got engaged a couple of nights ago. I am ecstatic. The only annoyance I have with her getting engaged was the timing for me. I wish it could have been last week, or next week. This week was crazy with two midterms, and an essay due all by Friday. I didn't get any studying done Tuesday night because I was so excited. That night my parents and I went over to her house for dinner to celebrate, by the time I got home it was late and I needed to sleep. Is it normal to feel a tiny bit annoyed that it put me behind on my school work?

    Your sister's engagement is kind of a bigger deal than you needing to sleep early or study.

      Yes I agree and that is why I celebrated with her and her now Fiance.

        So then? No need to get annoyed that her engagement landed up being on the same date as when you had school stuff, its important to her :) going to sleep alittle later won't harm your studies or anything.

        I know this issue is not the end of the world. I know the issue is not that significant, at all really. I just wanted to know if it was normal at the moment.

    If thays why you're annoyed about it then she could have gotten engaged any day of the year and you could have had things to do for school. Maybe she should have waited for spring break.
