Depends on the song.
I broke out into a duet with this old man who was playing these old songs on his little travel radio at my job. Though obnoxious as it was and the look of annoyance on customers faces, I found it cute that he wanted to sing and enjoy life.
Next time, whip out your pistol, knife, etc and clearly say "You are assaulting me with your singing. I feel threatened and fearful for the safety of my ears. Cease immediately and step away before I am forced to defend myself."
If they keep going, kill them. Problem solved.
Interesting concept. I've never thought of it that way. It sort of fits now that I think of it. There have been times in my life when I have felt extreme anger building up inside of me. For this reason or for that. As an outlet I would burst into song in crowded public places. Someone remarked to me one day that I must be really happy to be singing so loudly like this. Oh no, I responded, I'm singing because I'm really sad. I was mad at the world you see, and I was very loud and vocal about my anger. Thank you for such an insightful post.
For some reason a person singing in public does not bother me. I usually assume that they're just really happy about something.
I think its more a act of not giving a fuck but maybe it depends on the song.
