Sickly people irritate me!!

People with major allergies to things like foods or animals, people who are just in general weak and sickly-they bother me!!

Not only do they bother me but it really bugs me when people who have disorders that are genetically passed on have kids. Especially if they go on and have more kids after having one that came out with a disorder or illness.

I guess what I'm saying is I hate that medical technology and modern society (through charities and government payments like SSI and the like) allows people to exist when in nature these people would have been naturally eliminated and we'd be stronger as a whole as humans without these people polluting the gene pool. Normal to think this way?

I am the co-founder of an organiZation for people with special needs, my best friends adopt children strictly with special needs, and I will adopt children strictly with special needs. They are human beings. Much more so than you apparently are. Human beings have emotions and feelings and compassion and empathy something you are clearly and sadly lacking.

      This.

The issue isn't the people with allergies or illnesses.

The issue is that the OP is narrowminded and hateful and should remain indoors. No one deserves to be inflicted with that kind of ignorance.

I kind of feel this way sometimes. We've prolonged Darwin's survival of the fittest with modern medicine and technology. As a result, more people are capable of surviving and passing on bad genes. Because of this, the human race is overpopulated, and we're using natural resources like it's going out of style. With our rate of consumption, we will no longer be able to sustain ourselves by the year 2050.
Bad news: our current way of life is in danger of completely collapsing.
Good news: nature will take care of itself. People will die from famine and illness on a massive scale. Only the strongest will survive. Eventually, they may be able to start over again, better, stronger, wiser.

I can see your argument: I've no allergies whatsoever, and the only thing I've close to an illness is recently-acquired low blood-pressure.
I do believe that long ago we would've been better off 'weeding out' those weaken by disease, similar to natural selection, however today it's just too difficult and controversial. Too many people know someone with 'something wrong,' so you can't really get rid of them..
Most things we face now are of our own doing: allergies, syndromes.. All caused by us or our interference.
Granted, cases where people can't be exposed to certain elements, and sunlight are crazy, and it can only get worse. For everything we solve, our man-made medicines create new issues.
And for whoever commented about AIDS immunity: that's not actually the case, reread your article. In any case, had the initial humans infected been left to die off and not procreate, AIDS would not have spread, at least not so much it couldn't be quarantined and cured then. Now it's an epidemic, it's unlikely to ever go away, as those who have it dormant won't think to have it cured.

That's exactly the case. Also AIDS coudln't be left to die cause the doesn't occur in short time after having it, its not exactly ebola.

I have thought a great deal on this subject, the truth is that even "disabilities" or "disorders" enrich the human species gene pool, you never know when a certain gene will be needed in the future for the species survival.

Just so i can make it clear for you. There is a percentage(less than 0.5%) of earth's population that is virtually immune to AIDS. This immunity actually derives from a genetic defect <-- of their DNA.

  • What so you just think we should go shoot everybody that has a disability? You sound like a horrible person. I have albinism and this is ridiculously insulting. Also I don't really consider my self disabled because I can do everything a normal person can do, I just have to wear sun screen. You obviously just do not have a soft heart, and since mine is incredibly soft towards everything, it's really hard for me to understand people like you. Also I have to keep myself from disliking them greatly and being very rude.
