Okay i'm sick and fucking tired of getting into this UK vs. US.
Now I'm american and I live in the UK and I've met by a lot of people who love america and then I'm greeted by people who hate america. Whenever I encounter someone that doesn't like america all I hear is that we are:
spoiled
part of the Illuminati
fat
stupid
corrupt-(government)
sluts

Wtf, tbh I've seen a lot of you british fuckers who are utterly disrespectful to your own mother in front of your friends. I had a friend that told his mom that she was a stupid bitch to her face. They only think we're spoiled because of Super Sweet16-yes those are some spoiled brats but doesn't the UK have their own version of the show too?

Okay as for the Illuminati, don't believe everything you read (you naive fool)..this could be fake. Not only that but if every American was part of it...we'd all be rich and/or famous and we'd change the weather or whatever the hell they do. If it is true its only certain celebrities and I don't believe its just american people in this.

Okay seriously...how many times are the fat jokes going to roll in..really? Its old! I've seen loads of fat people that had to get cut out of their homes in England so its not just America! Tbh I haven't seen so many obese teenagers until I came here.

Okay if all of us are stupid then why do we have some great inspirational leaders? Like R.R. who tore down that wall or M.L.K. put a huge dent in segregation. And many others who've came up with brilliant inventions? Who does the UK have as their 'brilliant' leaders? Shakespeare? I've never heard of them.

Now the conspiracy thing...how our govenrment is corrupt and blah blah. Now, I know that our government is a bit fucked up but look at all the other governments that are full of utter shit. We have our faults but its not like when America goes to war every single person behind is saying 'Yeah! Blow up that country! Kill all those people!' No one understands me when I say its NOT the people's fault or that we don't want war...we want peace.

Last but not least the slut thing. I've never seen OR met a teenage mother until I came down here. I've never known anyone that slept with multiple guys under 15 until I came down here. Wth..not only that but I'm a virgin! And you know what they don't believe me but idc anymore!

Now what really pisses me off is when they go into the history of America...I don't know my history very well so therefore I'm not able to have a good educated debate with them because I don't want to sound stupid. But they take advantage of this I think. Don't get me wrong..no..america isn't a perfect country and they fuck up a lot. But so does Great Britian. I think its ignorant that most of their argument is based on what they've seen on TV-if I believed EVERYTHING I seen on tv then I'd be considered naive and silly.
is it normal that I'm angry about this and let it to get to me??!

    Um.. Wow... Dude do you live in like London coz there are quite a lot of sluts here in London.

    Anyway I'm English (well I have a British passport so I guess that makes me British), most of what you've said is true but that's coz you Americans say the same thing about us... I'm not trying to defend anyone but there's something about Americans which kinda makes me wonder, like all those American movies you see, there's always American flags on like every damn house, and then there's the cockiness like they feel that they are better than anyone else in the world... and what's with this saying "GOD BLESS AMERICA?" I don't know.
    OK they are good at making Hollywood movies, good music and food etc but then we could say the same thing that we're better than the whole of Europe but we're not like that!
    I still like America though it's not a bad country.
    To be dead honest, I'm starting to get sick and tired of Britain myself... The government is shit, there's too many immigrants coming into the UK, everything is expensive, etc etc.
    So I guess we're even :)

      If you educate yourself you would not be asking the stupid question about why there is a flag on every American house, it is there for a reason. Educate yourself about how the English/British tried to do to America what they did to the rest of the world, that is destroy it and the Americans gave the English/British the biggest whooping any nation has ever had and sent them packing back to this shit hole they call England. Then the Americans had to come and rescue the English in both world war 1 & 2, if it was not for America England would be under Hitler's rule. I am not an American but I say "GOD BLESS AMERICA" because we have them to thank, not only for our freedom, but for the millions of other things that they have given free of charge to the world.

      Many people live in a place they totally hate. Just here in my province, most of the english speaking people hate speaking french. If you're not happy, why not move? Of course it's way too hard to move out. Complaining will always stay.

    I live in the south of europe and I call tell you most people here does not like brits. Sad behavier, drunk most time, no respect for natives and do expect everyone to speak english making no effort at all even for the basic words.
    Were I live they rent many small summer appartments. Most british leave them in such a mess owner's don't rent them anymore to brits.
    The older have arrogant behavier and youngsters fallow the education they got at home.
    Days of polite british people are over.
    This is factual. Not a judgment.

    You don't know ANY British leaders? Really? That's really sad. For someone who doesn't know history, you're proving to them that we Americans are pretty dumb. They were doing a lot more progressive things long before the US was even discovered. We are direct descendents of them. You insult them, you'd be insulting us. We aren't so different from them.

    Just ignore people like that. Sure some of it may be true...we're known as the "fat country" because we have the most overweight people. And if you watch shows like Maury and Steve Wilkos, there are so many girls between 13-16 who have sex with multitudes of guys & are trying to get prego. But I'm sure there are whores everywhere, not just here. Again, just ignore people who discriminate...

    On a related point, I saw on TV the L.A. County Fair and it had deep fried everything! Watermelon, Kool-Aid, Oreos, Zucchini, everything!!! One of the vendors said it's all fat free; zero calories ^_^

    English people don't all think that. It is not just England who say that Americans are fat, it is because the statistics show that Americans are the largest consumers in the world. English people really don't care as much about Americans as people seem to think, we all enjoy their music and we aren't all disrespectful to our mothers, we treat them with respect. You say you don't want to be stereotyped? Your whole argument was basically saying how shit English people are, when you said English people shouldn't say mean things about Americans! If people didn't post silly things like this then maybe English people would think Americans are much nicer, more respectful and knowledgeable? Also, you are saying we are being disrespectful to our mothers...we are partially your mothers, we were the people who travelled over alongside others to America to make the new land, so you are part English whether you like it or not. I personally love America and think it seems lovely, but this post made me feel otherwise.
