Should these two women apologize?

These two women in 2008 had falsely accused a man of Indecent Exposure in a public park. the ladies said that when they was in the park that day they had seen a fully naked male in the tree line jerking off with no id on his face just an Id of his hand on his penis. they then saw a man leaving the park warring a red shirt, black pants, and carrying a black backpack full id. How is it that these two women can try to compare a man fully naked man in a tree line with no id to his face to a man leaving the park fully clothed? Strange? I seem to think so. the female officer on the case that day also had no clue on who it really was that had exposed himself to these women. So the female officer when with the second description without ever doing a full investigation pressed charges against him. the man that was fully clothes had to do a two year probation for a crime that he had never committed. I think that these two women not only owes this man an apology but the female officer needs to do the same. If anyone else agrees please speak up and comment thank u.

Yes, he should get some sort of compensation.

If they really believed that man did it then it's not really a false accusation, it's a mistake. If it really wasn't that man then they could apologize but I wouldn't say they OWE an apology, it would be nice but being nice is a personal decision...up to them.

But how do you know that man didn't do it? I mean, whoever it was most likely had clothes on when he got to the park, took his clothes off there and then put them back on before leaving. The fact that the man had clothes on leaving the park doesn't prove anything.
