Yes, I prefer for people to not go around shoving politics in other people's faces everywhere they go. I think it's fine for one to have one's political opinions, and to actively support the things which one supports, but to get all booty hurt, because all of your friends, relatives didn't for the same asshole you voted for is a shitty way to be.
Not OP, but your comment reminds of a story.
I lean towards liberalism, but I was disgusted when a Facebook friend said she was going to delete all of her friends who like Trump. I never wanted to punch somebody for pettiness than her.
Oh christ, people that do that crap (delete friends because of political BS) are the textbook definition of petty.
I mean it is like they take FB and politics WAY too serious.
Yeah, that was very petty of her! She's precisely the kind of person who needs to drink a nice, refreshing glass of shut the fuck up.
Politics has one thing in common with TV, music, astrology, religion, video games, and watching the neighbors fight -
It is all just... ENTERTAINMENT! Nothing more.
People just need dumb things to get riled up over. Pseudo-intellectuals needs politics so they can feel like they have good-lurnin about things.
Definitely. Trying to push your own personal beliefs on others isn't a good thing. Making things overly political is what is wrong with the US now. People need to understand that there is more to a person than just their political beliefs and stop judging others based solely on who they vote for.
