Should people make a revolution against modern society?

Shouls people make a revolution?
As "revolution" I don't mean a quiet demonstration of masses, but as well the intelligent use of force if that be necessary.
A revolution can occur in a peaceful way, but not a too peaceful one.
Also, a revolution might be spiritual(internal) as well as political(external). If you believe that both are necessary then choose the THIRD option. If not, one of the first two.

Yes, as far as the political or/and economical system is concerned 15
Yes, as far as human conciousness/way of living is concerned 8
Yes, humanity must make an overall change (All of the above) 45
No, Because I believe it might do more harm than good 12
No, things aren't that bad and they'll be made better in the future 9
I don't believe I'm sufficiently informed to judge that 4
I don't believe I am capable of judging that in general 6
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I think that there is a real revolution in the making that people aren't even aware of because of all the things around them to distract their shrinked up minds and hearts, however, when it comes in full, all of these people will open their eyes and will have no doubt as to who is leading The Final Revolution! God bless us all!!!

There is no such thing as a final revolution. The Marxist theory of thesis, antithesis and synthesis coupled with mankind's natural need to progress states that there will always be something new. Revolution is just a hyped up word for counterculture that attempts to glorify a counterculture as being the perfect solution to culture when in realty counterculture and culture go hand in hand. All counterculture will become culture, to some degree, in time and there is no stopping that. So while all these Utopian ideas are nice they are not going to happen and "Revolution" is not as glorious and powerful as it is made out to be.

    "Intelligent use of force"?

So, what if people disagree with you, you can force them around? Forget that.

If you dislike modern society join a culture that eschews things that are modern. Of course that will also mean you give up your computer and internet too.

We should all just Unite every country in the world then there will be no poorer country or no worse off country, it would be like one big huge united states but it would be the united states of the universe. Have the senate, house of representatives, everything.

I said NO for this reason: If it were within your power to remake Society as you believe it should be, what freedoms that we enjoy now would you do away with. Would you become a Stalin, or like some in other parts of this world, religiously strict? Society, as an ever evolvig entity, has some changes to make; but what exactly are you proposing to revolt against? You did not say.

    • 1)Revolt against The State.

That being the government, the political system, the economical system(whose form can be controled by the state) ALL of it.

Yet I also give a second choice which suggests an INTERNAL revolution: A revolution of consciousness, a revolution of Life.

It seems that most people agree that both external and internal changes ought to be made.
I agree with that and I believe it is urgent.
I don't believe that everyone has the balls for it, I definitely don't believe that, but I KNOW I do and I KNOW it is urgent.

My personal opinion is that a new polico-economical system has to be created. My first suggestion is to a establish a DIRECT ELECTRONIC democracy.
In such a political system all decision-making upon the matters of a nation that is not first voted by the people themselves would be considered illegal. Since our money is regarded to be safe under the control of machines(:computers) then a democracy could also be safe if the right care was given to it. I can go on and on describing how such a system could or would work.
But politicians of today are peculiarly silent upon this matter, and a change of system as well as the introduction of technology as an enhancer of peoples power over their nation doesn't seem to be in their future plans. Some steps have been taken though in the US.. or so I've heard. Only I am not a US citizen.

Yes! Fuck the sluts that teach irresponsibility! Push forward into a bigger better tomorrow. encourage people to think before they act and not judge who is hot by who has the biggest house, car, dick, tits. Not judge who is cool by who had sex with the most people and who got the most hammered. Base it on if someone is a respectable, responsible person. Meaning they don't belittle others to make themselves look cool. Fuck society. I am sick of this ignorant childish attitude. Were not cave men! We should not act like it! Not beating up the poor the gay or the mentally challenged kid. Not picking on the kid who is still a virgin at 17. Not picking on someone since they believe or choose not to believe religion. Not picking on someone since they do not follow your belief/religion/non-religion. Not fucking with someone for having medical problems or being to old to fight back. Not picking on the person who rents not owns.
