Hi guys! I really need your help. I am a personal trainer but money is pretty tight these days so I got a part time cocktail waitressing at a strip club. Its the type of stripclubs its just topless and they wear pasties on their breasts. I am not trying to brag (I am only saying this because is relevant to the story) but I am a gorgeous girl, I know I would make very good money if I danced. I would definitely be the prettiest girl in there. And this is a pretty classy club. Once I saw how much money these girls make and that they don't really need to get completely naked I have started considering dancing. I have always been extremely responsible with money. I once worked as a bartended at a famous nightclub in miami and saved up to buy a cheap forclosure condo which I now receive rent from. (Its 100% paid of). I would love to dance for maybe six months or so, so I can buy a second condo (im talking something in the 40s or 50s) Then my life would be considerably more comfortable with the payment of two rents. Btw, I have no kids. Do you guys think it is worth it? Are the consequences this might take on my self-esteem going to be worst than the benefits I will receive? I am a very confident girl, happy with myself. Please help me, and please reframe from insulting me and calling me a slut for even considering it. THANKS!

    A really quite girl I knew in her first year of uni got a job at a strip club and one year later she is a full on prosi.

    I'm not trying to be mean, but I personally wouldn't take the easy way out. I wouldn't be able to have men degrade me (because that's what they do).

    My friend did that and ended up getting stalked and raped. She also thought it was "ok" because she wasn't completely naked.

    Just get another part time job. It's better safe then sorry. =/

    You should do whatever you think is right. We can't make that decision for you. I once read something about this kind of stuff which I found rather amusing:

    Why not? It's not like you're talking about being a Hooker or something! Sounds like you'd have fun with it. However, since you did say you're a very gorgeous girl I'd be carefull. :/

    Lots of creeps out there. Still though sounds like you'd make alot of money. Maybe hire a body guard though lol, just in case.

    Though your unlikely to let this lead to prostitution you are still selling yourself, sell the condo, buy another n do it up, then sell that, don't do anything for money that may make you feel like you've sold your morals!

    just wanna say that your personal image will go WAY down if you do this. People will comment on you like you are a horse and they will not hesitate to abuse you. In your life in the future you will be known as a not very reliable person even though you worked your but off to get where you are now. Don't do it. find something more reliable

    Stripping comes with a lot of emotional issues. If you are a very very strong person and if hundreds of men demeaning you doesn't hurt your self-esteem, by all means, strip away.

    Dancing is sort of an easy way out for a lot of girls but honestly it's definitely not the best way for anyone.

    You could always domineer on the side.

    A lot of people, like college students do it, because of the high pay. You're not really demeaning yourself, but you're to your clients. Also, you can write down a list of things that you're willing to do.

    Look it up. It's certainly better than prostituting yourself.
