I've been messaging this guy at first it was great, always a conversation flirting, sharing thoughts. He was exactly like me. Trouble is I always started messaging except for twice. We met up a few times but I haven't seen him for a while. I kept messaging but not as much, he started being distant, and as though I was annoying or pushy. But I wasn't I just wanted a close friend like myself.
We haven't spoke for a while. I feel like when I message I'm annoying now since he never starts it.
I'm missing him though, should I message him? Ask him if I bother him? Or leave it?

    If someone is being distant and never initiating contact, it usually suggests they aren't bothered about maintaining a relationship with you.

    I suggest you let this ship sail. You might be lonely, but this guy isn't the one to make you feel better. Focus on other friends or on developing new friends.

    If it was flirty but you can admit that it is only for friendship, then maybe he noticed this and decided to back away from the relationship to get over it.

    I'd just leave him be.

      It wasn't like that, it was weird, I even flirted back. It all happened quickly. I'm so down, I'll never find anyone :/

        Why are you bringing "finding someone" into this when you clearly implied you simply wanted friendship from him?

        Why is you "finding someone" involved when talking about this guy you wanted to be friends with alone until he decides to leave the friendship behind?

        Aha, so you did want more than friendship! But seriously, where did you meet this dude? I know it's depressing but ole boy's probably not that into you. I know it ain't easy, but try to dust yourself off and not think about him anymore.

    I think you've answered it yourself possibly, you said that it was always flirty but you just want him as a friend, maybe he wanted to be more than that
