Should i shave my pubic hair for my boyfriend?

Okay so, I've(28) been going out with this guy(27) for a month. he's a really nice dude, we've been friends for years and we get along very well: we share the same interests, like the same bands etc.
now, i have never been a self conscious person, i consider myself fairly attractive. but the other day when we were going to have sex, i suddenly felt really bad about my pubic hair. on top of that, I've never been with a dude before, I've only dated lesbians who found my body hair attractive and i found theirs attractive too. i know some men like pubic hair but i get the impression that most dont. i don't like shaving nor waxing and i haven't done it since i was 17. should i shave? how do i ask his opinion about it? i don't really want to have this awkward conversation

    trim to the tee, shaving can cause cuts remember so either be very careful or trim it to a 1

    It is a wonderful surprise for him to see you clean shaven. I wouldn't tell him I would simply show him. You will be amazed at what a turn on it is.

    Either way is sexy. Its about the attitude. If you are self conscious about your body, you will come off that way. Do what you want, shave, trim, au natural, but just own it.

    I hate shaving. My man doesn't care either way. But I trim just to be nice.

    Who cares what they all prefer, don't ask him, if you want it, leave it, if it bothers him it's up to him to ask you, then you can make your decision based on that discussion.

    I have no horse in the female pubes debate - I think as long as it's clean and you keep it tidy then it looks fine with or without. However my husband likes it a certain way because of certain sexual activities, so that is how I keep it because I want to look sexy for him. And he keeps his pubes how I like them for the same reasons.

    I don't know when it became a huge feminist issue to make sure that your pubes are not attractive to men, but I think the whole thing is a bit silly. Unless you have a really strong preference either way then just have your pubes how your partner likes them, and get him to do the same for you. Makes sexy time that bit more sexy :D

          I never shave. Only wax for summer. My pits smell worse when I wax and my lady bits don't stink.
