Should i rush love?

I understand what its about and such. But ive never been in love or had such strong feelings for someone. Is love something that develops as you date someone or does it happen right away and just progress/get stronger?
This boy likes me and ive liked him before too. He wants to date me but im not sure if i love him enough to kiss or consider being his girlfriend since i dont feel that spark or whatever? Im afriad ill make myself have fake feelings for him. I dont want to feel fake love.

      No i know im nkt asexual for sure. I crave to be loved and have boyfriends in my life but for some reason i get to shy, scared, or awkward when any opprotunity rises.

    Its not love. Believe me.
    If you are feeling "NOT SO SURE" then it is not love. if you date him then it can happen, or it won't. You will know because you will be SURE that weather you want him bad or it's just a flick. If you are not sure if you want to date him then don't worry. You might fell like IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED but it will perish.

    Try and go out on one date with him, see how it goes. If you feel nothing, let him down easily.

    By the way, love is something that develops, it's like a matured version of a crush. It's unlikely that you'd love him outright, so thinking that you don't and therefore never will is the wrong mentality.

    Although I'm aware you say you don't feel a spark so I'm not trying to say that you actually should date him regardless of your feelings, just try and give him a chance if you're unsure. It's better to take an opportunity and have it fail then to miss it entirely.

      Ive liked him before and fir a while. I have a feeling i like him because i purposly show off and make him jealous. I just get scaref when i feel hes trying to make moves. We have been friends since 7 grade now im a sophmore in highschool..hes taken me to his school homecoming before and we hang out often.. i guess weve been on plenty of 'dates'. But ever since he told me we should take up the next level its gotten awkward and i feel funny around him now.thankyou for the advice:)

    If you don't feel anything don't rush it. You'll probably get hurt or regret it if it's forced just because your dating
