Heck, I just quit my job at the helium factory last week. I couldn't stand being spoken to in that tone of voice any more.

  • There is no way of telling if your job is unbearable or unreasonable due to the sparse amount of information that you have posted about it. However, I do not believe any job is worth a bunch of stress (which can kill you in the long run) so I would say that you should find something that you enjoy doing.

Other: Find another job FIRST, and then quit. If you cant find another job, its best to suck it up and keep it. The extra money will definitely be needed for the new baby and you will be glad. Thats just my opinion, plus I know first hand how expensive kids are.

Same here. I hate my job so much. I am paid to do nothing, my boss is jealous of me and tries to exclude me from everything. I am bored and frustrated every day and ask myself the same question every day. I also google the question and lot, but you know, you are the only one who knows what is going on every day in your life, how much you can take and when enough is enough... Surely giving up something that causes so much distress cannot be the end of the world. Good luck...

always have a plan b. a plan b that is better than your plan a, for long term reasons rather than short term ones. dont be a little girl, sack up and make grown up decisions.

Having a child isn't going to fix whatever the underlying problem really is here. Someone else mentioned that it's really hard to know what your situation really is based on the little bit of information provided.

One thing is for certain, though: too many people rush into marriages or having children thinking it's the "be-all, end-all" and "the ultimate" that will make them happy. And, it doesn't. It often merely complicates things and stresses people who are truly not prepared for what they are taking on.

Get another job first. See how you feel. Then plan for the future. Since you're a female, just remember that in most places, you'll earn less for doing the same job as a male and that means less pension money at the end of the career. Most women outlive their spouses, so keep that in mind also. Plan carefully!

well, if u can survive on your husband's salary, QUIT NOW! money isn't worth stress, unless that would mean not having enough to make ends meet. ( which would mean MORE stress). while ur home, you could apply for food stamps and/or other forms of help to be able to survive with less income. a person spends a good portion of their life @ work, so it's not worth any amount of money (in my opinion anyway). try finding a job that it's a positive environment that ur going to be absorbing. you'll be happiest all around that way! ;)
