Im sure its normal to want to quit a job because you feel like you can do better elsewhere but, is it normal that i want to stay because i want to help an up and coming company start up, even though it could be holding myself back as a professional?

    It has been said that if you love your work, then it isn't a job.
    I believe it is important to choose a life path that one enjoys, not just going after money and security. For most, just settling for those things leads to depression and physical illness.

    Don't just quit without finding something else first though.

    Also you never know how the experience from this job may help you in your future endeavours but don't listen to me i am working in dead end job to dead end job.

    If you feel your job is holding you back, look for another job! Simple as that.

    I kind of know how you feel, seems like all i can do in life is help others and get nothing in return. But i get my joy in seeing those that needs help, get the help they needed and accomplish their own dreams or goals.
