Should i not have a kid cause i'm too immature?

I'm a dude.
I'm 26.
I'm great around kids, admire them and definitely want one (not sure if with current gf), but since birth I've had an eccentric personality. I mess with people and almost never give a straight answer to questions, especially obvious ones.

I'm not dishonest nor insincere, but I'm cheesy, sarcastic, playful, sneaky, jestful -- I feel when I have a kid I'll screw them up real bad cause kids are gullible and naive and I might troll them out of habit :(

    Kids love that shit and they're not stupid.

    The biggest indicator for no (at the moment) is the not sure about having a kid with current gf bit, which is quite reasonable.

    I don't think that you should feel that you would make a bad parent just because you have a sense of humor. My boyfriend loves making jokes with people, making them laugh, giving me weird answers to which I would reply with something sarcastic and we'd both laugh. I think we'd make good parents because we're funny and light hearted and don't take every little thing too seriously. Its the square type people who probably won't make good parents if you ask me. This girl I knew in school, her parents never joked, laughed did anything fun and she's 19 now, my age, hooked on drugs and dating a dealer. Same with a lot of "stiff" type parents, their kids turned out really messed up. My boyfriends parents are the nicest funniest people ever and my boyfriend and his sister grew up with strong moral values and they are extremely decent mature people. However if you're not sure about your current girlfriend I wouldn't throw a kid into the mix. Its bound to end badly.

    Eh, don't be in a hurry to have kids, man. Just declare to the universe that it'll happen if it's destined to be, otherwise don't worry about it.

    Don't rush yourself into having children when you aren't ready, then you might end up regretting them later. You seem unsure about having them with this woman, so take this as a cue and don't have them with her. Wait until you've found the right girl, you'll know when you meet them, and until you can be sure that you won't pull these "stunts" off with your kids. Live life at your own pace, and don't let anyone rush you. Good luck!

      Several reasons, some eerie, which would end up being four paragraphs long but the main reason is that we both communicated that this was "casual" going into it. two people who just enjoy each other's company for the time being
