Should i have sex ? (read the story!!!)

Well I'm in a unique situation, I'm pretty sure that I'm asexual. This means that I have no interest in a sexual relationship with a girl. Now, I'm having a loving relationship of 5 years without sex (which is perfect for me). And my girlfriend is indifferent about sex. But here’s the problem. 99% of the world has sex, it would be foolish of me to ban sex out of my life without even trying it. But if I have sex with my her and I don’t like it. I could lose her because I basically raped myself with her by forcing myself to do it.

I would like to know your opinion on this because it has been bugging me for the last 2 years.

Have sex with your girlfriend (And maybe lose her) 9
Use a prostitute (And maybe lose your girlfriend) 1
Continue your happy platonic relationship 6
Go see a therapist (alone) 3

    You used the word perfect in describing your relationship. Why would you want to change that?

    Do you feel that you would be raping yourself by having sex with your girlfriend? You shouldn't force your self to have sex, but kit is right, you really should be talking to your girlfriend about this. If she feels the same about sex as you do then discussing it with her may very well help you sort your thoughts out.

      I don't know if talking to her will help but I'll give it a try, But I'll probably choose not to have sex. It's like dappled said. Why would I change our relationship when I've never been happier. I can't regret being happy.

      It's just this sexed up world. It's like you have to have sex to fit in. But I guess I'm going against the grain. (Like I always did)

    Maybe you should talk to your girlfriend about it and maybe she can help you with this. You wont know till you try.
