Should i film my pervert neighbor?

The man who lives next to my mom has a long history of not only flashing people but standing at his front screen door naked. He can be seen jerking off all the time and has even come outside naked several times (trust me you don't want to see this guy naked.) There are children who play outside and there is a factory across the street and a lot of young women have seen him and everyone thinks its really gross and Im sure its illegal.
Problem is the police have been called but supposedly there is no proof (even though multiple people say they have seen him) because he always says he wasn't home at the time and his sick wife covers for him.

My uncle suggested I keep a camera with a time and date and either film him or take photos so I have definite proof. That seems kind of crazy and weird but it may be the only way to get this creep in trouble with the law. I feel strange about being the one to do it!
Has anybody had experience with this kind of thing and would film footage of this be legal proof ?

    You should definitely do it...but you need to set up the camera to film on it's own, so you aren't putting yourself in any danger. Who knows what naked ugo is capable of.

    It's only illegal if he's under 18, because it's classed as child pornography, otherwise go ahead. Not only could you give this police, but you could also sell it to papers and earn some money.

    Seems like that would work. I wouldn't want to live around somebody who publicly jacks off on the porch either. Who knows what else he might do.

      Yeah that's my concern. One day jerking off the next day abducting a child...his wife knows he does this and she doesn't even care! Im almost madder at her than at him.

        Look up the laws in your area regarding recording people. In some places it is illegal and can be used against you. Maybe talk to a lawyer or somebody who knows more about the law.

          I think in my area its legal to film as long as there is no sound. Maybe just a photograph then. Ugh I shouldn't have to do this...
