Should i feel this hurt?

My boyfriend & I are at a dance where he is in charge of the function. Tells me he can't dance as he has a few cleanup details to take care of. No problem, I will help. I start helping with cleanup. A particular woman had drank heavily and is sleezing all over several of the guys. She grabs my guy and pulls him out on the dance floor. He continues to dance with her and I ask him to stop or I will leave. As I do not want to witness this person rubbing all over my guy ( been dating for 8 months). Ifyou're bull headed enough to leave then go and don't expect me to come running after you. Should I feel this hurt over his reaction to letting me walk out into the night alone? It was 11:30 pm. Why was it easy to say no to dancing with me & not her. Guess next time he says No I should grab his hand and pull him on the floor? Hoping for helpful suggestions as I am a widow after 38yrs and this is my first real dating time as I married directly out of high school and do not know the rules and the what ifs of dating. Thanks.

      He was very inconsiderate. Your histrionics were also inappropriate for a 60 year old. You need to dump each other.

  • Actually I don't think you were wrong in what you did, because you are both older, and he should have said no to her especially since you were sitting right there. If I went out with my boyfriend and he wouldn't dance with me, but he would with some drunk bitch then yea I wouldn't be too happy about it, but it's just what he said about not coming home with you. Dump him, find somebody more romantic, and considerate.

  • wait, so you and your boyfriend are not kids. I think that if you were 17, then both your bf's and your behaviour would be absolutely normal. but since you both have to be in your mid 50s, i would say you both need to seriously grow up.

    your bf was wrong to do what he did, but you were wrong to initiate the hystrionics that you did. you should have pulled him aside after the dance and talked to him like an adult and expressed your feelings.

    He's sounds like a stupid jerk to me. Also I hate stupid, drunk, aggressive skanks.

    This is normal. If the guy didn't want to dance with you and said he had cleanup details, yet he went and danced with another woman that wasn't his date, you had full right to feel hurt. You should explain how you feel to him and not let him just brush it away.

    FFS the lesson here, once again, is that if u get pissed u will get laid. Just cos ur his gf doesnt mean ur an easy screw, drunkedness= increased motivation for all involved!
    Have fun!

    You didn't even mention what he said. Did he say "suck my knob police woman"? Because if he did, hilarious as it may be, it is not normal in fact;

  • no wonder ur so insecure about urself married after high school. I think this kind of jeolosy puts people off. You should be stronger and confident in yourself, if you don't others will be either put off by u or try to take advantage of you. good luck.
